Thanks for the info you sent. Hope the rest of you PA guys are fairing out better than me. It is pouring rain here about 34*. Everything is freezing up (except the roads). When this stuff freezes up solid - if you can get to your hunting area on the 26th - we can just stand on the bottom of the mtns and catch the deer when they slide down.
Good luck to all.

i never saw such WINDY weather here in NORTHCENTRAL pa.

cold as h too.now its raining this week with HIGH WINDS for saturday.

roads are disaster in mountains.
icy,you will need chains , i feel.

snow is about 6 inchs deep and makes a crunchy sound in woods, you fall right thru today, 3 days ago, you could walk on top of snow, hard as rock.

this is worst winter on WIND/COLD as we have had in years.

Seventy four degrees today, humid, overcast with intermittent sunshine. Hoping for a cold front by the week end. The rut should be in full swing here but the warm weather slows everything down. [:@]

Well Christmas night 8:30 what snow is left after the rain is frozen solid. Looks like things are going to warm up the next couple days and what's left of the snow in my part of the state should be gone.
Will be out tomorrow AM with rain expected in the afternoon. I got all next week off so I am going to relax and enjoy it.

Semisane,
THAT'S NOT NICE! Or funny. Well maybe a little funny.
Rub it in like that and any wimps that can't take the cold in our northern states, are likely to move to someplace warm. Like Louisiana.
We'll have them stop by to say Hey to Semisane.

i never thought i would worry about weather as i have this year in northcentral pa.

i used to just grab my muzzleloader, in truck and out.

after having hunters sliding down roads at me in their trucks,i guess i am turning into a GIRLIBOY.

i have not seen things this bad in years here in NCP.

even if you get to your hunting spot, HOW THE HECK WILL YOU BE ABLE TO HUNT IN THIS STUFF,it loks like skating rink out in my yard,my dog cant even walk on it.
