Default question about pro hunter

i read that all the thompson center encore barrells will fit the pro hunter, i was told the only difference in the reciever is the swing hammer, is there any truth to either one of these's

I think there may be a few more differences between the Endeavor and the Pro Hunter. Otherwise, why would people pay the extra money for the Pro Hunter when they could have the same thing with the Endeavor. But I really don't know.

All Encore and Pro Hunter barrels are interchangable. The frame is the same other than cosmetics and the swing hammer as far asI know.

the breach plug is different,pro hunter has the half turn breach

Yes...but that's the barrel. Ifan Encoe ownerdesired he could by a PH barrel (or Endeaver) and then he would have a different breech. My point waseither frame accepts all the barrels.
