Default Knight Customer Service

Just thought I would put a good word in for Knight's customer service. When I bought my Disc Extreme a few weeks ago, it didn't have the non-FPJ conversion with it or theC tool mentioned in the instructions. I wasn't really too concerned about either, especially since, while I purchased it new, it was still 5 years old. Anyway, I sent an email to Knight. She emailed me back to ask a few more questions, to which I responded, and then I didn't hear anything for about a week. I thought that was kind of odd to just blow me off like that, but whatever. Well about a week later, I got another email from Laurie at Knight. She was very apologetic for the delay and explained that she had to order more C tools and was waiting to get them in. She said that everything would be in the mail the next day. A couple hours later she emailed me again and said the she had gotten everything in the mail. I got it three days later. Anyway, I'm very impressed and just thought I'd let everyone know.

One of the major problems the MK85's had was that if you shot the rifle a good bit you could get residue into the trigger mechanism. Now on the original MK 85's the rifle had a completely adjustable "target trigger" group. And it just connected to the rifle with a single screw. It was and still is extremely easy to take off and clean. However I never dreamed about cleaning out a trigger mechanism. To make a long story short it was a couple of days before a hunt, and the trigger gummed up and would not function. I called Knight, and was very upset. They actually sent me a trigger overnight at their expense. So as you can guess, I am a Knight kind of guy.

I was able to fix the trigger with "electric cleaner" and canned air afterwards. But I did not know that at the time. Tom.

My Wolverine trigger did the same thing. A Knight Technician on the phone talked me through how to clean it and I got it back and working in minutes. When I told him I kind of scuffed the knob on the back he said, send it in, and we will put a new one on. I never did. Its my reminder of why I should clean the trigger. Knight has great customer service.
