Default .50 CALIBER / 223 GRAIN / AEROTIP COPPER

Just thought I would share my results with this bullet. I have taken around 6 deer with this bullet with good results. So far I have not had a deer go more then 50 yards after the shot. The only time I have had the bullet totally explode is when I hit the front shoulder blade. I have only gotten one pass through and that was this year on a doe at about 8 yards. The pic below is of a bullet that I took a buck with this past weekend. It went through one rib on the entrance and between ribs on the other side stopping just between the ribs and skin. It was a 35-yard shot. I have been shooting it out of my CVA using three 50gr pyrodex pellets, with good accuracy out to 100 yards.

That is some excellent expansion. And it seems to be working for you well. That's the main thing. Congratulations on the venison.

Really good expansion, it is funny how some people have great luck with them and others dont.
