Genesis No Longer Offered In Bargain Cave

Well guys I guess we bought them all out I just noticed they are no longer offered in the Cabelas bargain cave.

I sent an email to Randy Wakeman yesterday about the Genesis. Just a general question. And he said that he heard Remington had discontinued production. I had also heard this from Bass Pro Shops when I asked them to order me one. They told me that they couldn't get any from their supplier because they were discontinued.

Huh. Not too surprising I guess. In my opinion,the standard retail price was not that much less thanthe cheaper versions of theOmega or Triumph. If I had to pay full retail for a Genesis, I would probably opt for a T/C of some sort.

A great deal for $100 though.

I am sure glad to hear that.. you don't know how many times I went back to the Cabela's site and had to talk myself out of buying a couple more. My nephews would have got a big kick out of a fancy black powder rifle.

glad I got one. I'm sure I'll step up and get something a little nicer in a few years but this should get me started. My friend bought one too so now I have someone to shoot with.

There's still some available elsewhere if anyone still wants one. Just not as cheap...
