Thanks. That looks like what I want. However, which model do I pick? They list one for CVA-Win-New Front, Knight RND BBL, Optima Kodiak Wolf, Encore-Omega. Those are the options when you click the drop down box for model. Also are the CVA mounts good? I know they make pretty good muzzle loaders so I'm assuming these mounts are good.
Notice that three different sets of mounts are shown. It will be the middle see through mounts that you need. Just make sure the item number I gave you is correct # XJ-216227 and your good to go.
T/C makes a set called Gorilla Grip. I have them on my Genesis with a Leupold Rifleman 2x7. I had to slide the scope as far forward as it would go, but the setup works just fine. They do make see-thru mounts, but I've got the normal mounts. Got them at WallMart for $20.
I'm still confused. What do you mean the middle mounts? When I do a search for that model number those mounts come up but when you add it to your cart you have to select a model from the drop down list. Which do I select there?
Once you have the page open showing the cva durasight scroll down and you will see three options. Click on the second option making sure to click on the underlined description of the sight. This will open a second page showing the cva see thru durasight. Scroll down the page and there are four listing for different rifles, notice the first list of the four contains the remington genesis. Click on add to cart after choosing one mount this will open another page showing your selection and the cost click on view shoping cart which will take you to checkout info. I hope this helps
Thanks. I see where it says it now. When I found them under scope bases and mounts the drop down list had Remington Genesis listed. When I just did a search for the model number you gave me I didn't see it on the drop down list.
One thing I did realize now is it may not fit in my gun cabinet with these as the guns with regular scope mounts you have to really lean at an angle so I'm thinking these may be high enough that the gun wont fit. I'm not sure if I want these now or not but I'm thinking I still may want to get these.
BTW also I see they are alloy. I've read others say steel is better but these get good reviews. Are they decent mounts?
I have used two sets of them on knight rifles a 45 & 50 caliber with no problems. I think for the money and like you said good reviews you cant
go wrong if you decide on them. I recently picked up two sets of cva universal in line scope mounts for about two dollars each at a sporting goods store that had them reduced. They list for around thirty dollars so
I couldnt resist them. They are made from solid aircraft aluminum and seem well made. I used one set on my cva accura and plan to use the other set on the genesis if they fit.
