Default Thanks for the help from a lurker!

I don't post much, but I have been interested in muzzleloaders for a long time. Santa (my wife) got me an Omega for an early Christmas present. I got the RealTree hardwoods camo, with a thumbhole stock with Weather Shield barrel. Took it to my make-shift range to try it out at 70 yards, using open sights, 100 grains of T7 pellets, Hornaday FPB 350 GR and WinchesterT7 primer. First shot, just leaning up against a tree, was three inches low, 2 inches to the right, after an adjustment, 2nd shot was 2 inches to the right in line with the bullseye, 3rd shot was perfect bullseye as were the two after. Called it good for the day and can't wait wait for more range time with it but will be taking it out hunting this week.

SO, I just wanted to say thanks to the guys here for all their indirect help. I learned a lot just from reading the answers to other questions on this forum. You guys are a great fountain of knowledge that I hope to tap into more in the future!

Special thanks to cayugadand sabotloader, you guys have left a lot of great advice on the boards for a newbie like me to follow.

It sounds like a great shooting rifle you have there... glad I was of some help.
