100 grains of Pyrodex RS loose, .430 diameter .44 caliber 300 grain XTP in a green Harvester Crushed Rib sabot..
100 grains Pyrodex P. 458 Speer HP .454 caliber in a MMP orange sabot.
I have only had mine to the range about six times and it shoots about anything I want to shove down it. Also with a 250 gr Shockwave and 100 grains of powder it does a real good job.
Pay attention to the allen bolts on the botton. The whole they come out of they need to go back into. Also if you take the firing pin apart to clean it, be careful that it goes back in exactly the way it came out, or it will misfire.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering this as well. Anyone tried 150 grains of powder? Or 3 Pyrodex pellets? I'm thinking I may try that with a either 245 or 295 grain Powerbelt to see how it does. I'm hoping it will make a decent long range gun. As in 150 yards or so. Maybe even 200 yards. Although I'm not sure I have a place to sight them in that far away. My place to sight them in is only 100 yards. I've got a buddy with a field that's probably close to 200 yard though.
I've never shot pellets out of my rifle and never shot 150 grains yet. 100 grains of Pyrodex P is about all the power I would need unless I headed to Africa. Jim Shockey for years (I read) shot 100 grains of Pyrodex RS and used a Nosler Partition bullet and took everything from mice to moose with that load.
If you want to shoot long range, I am not saying a powerbelt can not do it, because I never tried, but I would think there are better projectiles out there for that then a powerbelt. Although FG does some impressive shooting with them and he normally shoots 80 grains of powder with them.

Yep that deal seems sweet. It also has a $35 mail in rebate and a $20 off coupon. Although, it's now back ordered it says it should ship in 1-2 weeks. I'm not sure how I will like the blued barrel on a muzzle loader but I figure it should do fine as long as I keep it oiled and clean. All of my rifles and shotguns have blued barrels I like okay. My current muzzle loader has a stainless steel barrel which I will say is nice though especially on the muzzle loader since they get soo dirty.
What kind of bullets do you guys recommend for long range shooting? I just like the Powerbelts as it's all I've used and they are very very accurate out of my other black powder gun at 100 yards with 100 grains of pellets so I've stuck with them. I'm just tempted to try the 150 grains of pellets since this thing can handle it. I'm not sure if I will like it or drop it back down to 100.

When you talk long range, you want aerodynamic bullets. If you're shooting 100 yards, most bullets will handle the problem. Its when you start reaching 150 or 200 yards, now you have to consider how that bullet goes down range. One of the best long range bullets is the Shockwave. People just seem to be able to make that thing shoot long range. I like Barnes and Nosler. Some other good ones, Parker Extreme.
Personally, I am not a long range shooter. Where I shoot and hunt it just is not necessary. But, there are some excellent long range shooters on this forum. I am sure they can give you some excellent advise on your bullet selection.

I ordered one of those also. I couldn't pass on a price like that. Hell, that one is less than what I paid for my Black/Blue Genesis... It's on backorder right now though, so there's no telling when they'll ship it. So I guess I'll have 3 Genesis' is Santa brings me that Buckmaster I asked for.
