Default CVA Optima

I just got this gun in October. I went out to start sighting in the scope and first shot was about 10" high and 3" left at 50 yards. I adjusted the scope and shot again and it was a 1 1/2" high at 50 yards. My concern is I forgot to swab the barrel in between shots. Should it still be there. I forgot the swabs and had no access to any. I plan on shooting more next week. Just curious if you think it should still be close? I really like this gun, I got the nickle/camo with a 2x7 scope. I already took my buck with the bow so now I want to get my doe with the muzzleloader.

It should be fairly close, depending on the load and guns sensitivity to a fouled barrel. You will know as soon as you go to the range again. Good luck and keep us posted.

Actually my Optima likes a dirty barrel. I just spit patch between shots. It should be fine.
