RE: Third deer with the Lyman Mustang rifle
EXCELLENT Johnny!!!! What scope you got on that Mustang? I have a 3x9 Leupold on mine.
Have you shot that load on paper at 150 yards or more? If so, what kind of groups did you get?

This is my third deer this year with the Lyman Mustang rifle...50 cal---300 grain shock wave bullets-95 grain loose 2F Goex powder-Win 209 primer--Taken at a laser reading of 176 yards..Perfect heart and lung shot...6 point buck..He had his last bite of corn yesterday morning...Taken in fog and rain...Will be taking the rifle down to PA in a couple of weeks to try my luck there...At first I thought I had better aim a bit high,but with being sighted at 2 inchs high at 100 yards.I just held right on and it was a success.....Love that rifle....
