Default Primer question

Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum and have a quick question. Would switching 209 primers change the impact point of my bullet?

It has been reported that changing primers may move POI... I shoot an old primer a Remington 209-4 and the new Winchester Triple seven primer and see no difference at all, but both of these primers a relativly cool....

Going from a cool primer to a hot primer might just cause a movement in the POI

Hey! and welcome to the forum there really are some great minds on here

Welcome to the forum. Any time you change some thing in your process of loading there is the possibility, it can change your POI. I shoot the Winchester W209 and the Remington Kleenbore (when I find them on sale). I notice very little difference in POI in my rifles. I blame differences in my POI more on my shooting skills..

Yes it will, proof is here in my rifles:

http://www.the-gleasons.com/Primers%20by%20NIC_58%20on%20Doug's%20Savage%20Boa rd.pdf

will it make a difference at 50 yards, not very much, but at 100, big time, with same everything--bullet, powder and sabot all the same, impact with different primers is different.
