nice expansion there.. think of the size hole that plowed through the vital organs.. I have one of them around here myself that I recovered from a deer. How far were you from the deer again?

Shooting range was only 50 yards or so.I can't imagine the mess a larger caliber ball would do.It did more damage than the .270 We're going out again in the AM to see what we can do.The 16 year old has a button WT buck and a mulie doe both with centrefire arms...............Harold PS: general season is in full swing so will be competing with modern weapons.100 yards or less shouldn't make a difference
