I am ashamed to admit this, as I was so uptight about this gun when I got it, but I shot my Encore and reloaded for a follow up shot that I didnt need. Well I guess in the hussel and bussel of getting the deer cleaned and so forth (and last day of ML season),it never got cleaned. Ive got it clean as I can get it now after 100's of patches and solvents and brass brushing and so forth and tons of elbow grease, but I am concerned if the spots of rust left in the barrell will have an adverse affect on my accuracy. I know it can't be good. My set-up is a T/C Encore, Blued Barrell, 100gr (2 50gr pellets) of 777, and 295gr Power Belt Aero Tips. I was happy with the way it was shooting 1" groups at 100yds (Dont know how well that stacks up against you guys).
Im going to find out tomorrow how it effects it and see what happens. Ive never had a ML barrel stay shiny even with religous cleaning and it stayed fairly accurate....Time will tell tomorrow. Any thoughts or opinions??
Only shooting will tell.. I have seen some bad rifles still shoot well. Good luck.

it's not great but better than i thought.... 1.75-2.00" at 100yd
Some people would be very happy with a group like that... glad to hear it was not ruined.
