Default Genesis scoped

Well I ran back down to Cabela's today and got a Nikon Prostaff 3-9X scope with BDC for the Genesis. Looks good on it. (Now I have a scope on that rifle that is 150% more than what I paid for the rifle.) Nice package thoughfor $250 plus tax- even though it is an inline......

I bet that is going to be a great shooter. All I have is a 1X on mine. And I am impressed as the devil with mine. Keep us posted how it shoots..

Will do Dave. And while I was in, what the wife affectionately calls "The Man's Room", I got to looking at my MLs on the rack. I took down the one with the Custom Curly maple stock and the GM barrel and the fiber optic sights and started rooting through my 'junk' box. I found a set of T/C sights and the holes on the rear sights matched upso i took the fiber optics off the barrel and put the steel T/C sights on. It was just something about that stock and the fiber optic sights that didn't go together. Now it looks better.

Here's my lineup for this year...

Top: Genesis / 4-12x Alpen Scope
Middle: Triumph / 3-9x Nikon
Bottom: Savage ML11 / 4-16x Bushnell 4200 Elite

The Genesis and the Triumph will be shooting 110gnv BH / 300gn Remington .458 HP @ 1875fps zeroed at 150yds.

My savage will will be shooting 67gn H4198 / 300gn Barnes Original .458 @ 2400 fps zeroed at 200 yds.

They're all ready to go come the 15th , and so am I.

My supervisor is coming in to drop off some stuff for me. I hope he soon gets here and tells me I can leave so I can get the Genesis out for its virgin run.

When the Yukon first came out, I almost bought one. I looked at it at a store and when I played with the cam it came off the rifle in my hand. Needless to say, no sale was made. And that haunted me for a long time about the rifle. When the Genesis was on the market, the same thing as a Yukon, all I could think of was cam coming off in my hand. Then listening to some of the other people talking about them, you and Underclocked, I decided a stainless steel one was in my future. Besides the price was too good...

Panhandle - your picture.

I'm going over to the gunshop today and retrieve my Genesis if it hasn't sold. I might need it.

ps: NatchezSS has a pretty good price on the Genesis again. Not as good as the Cabela's sale, but not bad either.

Panhandle, you can't post a pic from the fast post on the bottom of each page. You have to click "Post Reply" at the top of each topic. then you click browse, find the picture and upload it, then click "embed picture in post". and TADA.
