Default Three Dollar Scope Mounts !!!

I thought I had a set of rings and mounts to fit the new Accura but in the words of the fonz I was wrong. I went to a local sporting goods store that had marked down a lot of their merchandise. I could not believe my eyes when I saw a set of CVA universal see through bases and rings for $3.00. I gave them a new home on my new Accura topped off with a Simmons Aetec. To quote Roger Raglin I had a good day.

Yep sometimes if you look you can find stuff CHEAP. The Silver/Stainless rings on my Thompson Encore cost me $3.99 (these where the T/C brand even). They came from Dick's Sports in Kansas City. Not sure why they marked them down so much. They had a bunch of items in the "Black Powder" area like that. I bought all I could afford and ended up selling a lot of it on ebay and to buddies at the range. Cleaning suppiles, Sabots, etc.

Great buy (except for the see through part - can't stand the extra height personally).
