Default Had good intentions

Well I planned on going out for turkey this morning but got talked into going out with the bow. Was up in the stand for only and hour and half and kept thinking about those turkey. Decided to get down out of the stand and run home and grab the muzzie and head back out for them. As I was untieing my bow from the drop rope, I heard a twig snap and something coming. I got down on one knee and nocked and arrow and look what came past me at about 22 yards.

High Country bow set at 58#, carbon arrows and Magnus Stinger 100 gr 2 blade. The ran about 20 yards, walked about 30-40 more, stood there for abouta minuteand fell over. I don't think he knew what happened and why he wasn't feeling so good. Maybe I'll get a crack at those turkey on Wednesday.
Thanks Dave - You know the funny thing is , I hunted this stand for 4 weeks and never saw a deer in it. I knew there was a buck in there cause there were fresh rubs and scrapes in the area. I guess his sex drive forced him to let his guard down.
