Here is how I am using my Lanes Tubes
I got a HS stock mate shotgun shell holder and put
90grn BH 209 in the short tubes (three of them)
Win 209 primers in another short one(9 or 10,I put two more in the holes of the recoil pad)
Three Shockwave 200's in a Long tube,They fit nice and tight so they wont fall out,It is working great.
Thanks Lane
I use a 7 pocket fanny pack with short starter and other possibles plusother gear for the hunt.
A larger pack that the fanny pack attatches to holds a small coleman heater, thermos, tripod and camera, extra clothes, lunch and magazines for groundblind reading.I use the tripod as my shooting rest by attatching the gun holder from another shooting stick and putting that on the camera cleat and then on the tripod,Rock steady.I can hold on target and move up or down with the turn of the crank

Brilliantly simple! Last year I shot a doe with my ML after 30 minutes in the stand. I was going to stay to fill my other tag but went to reload and did not have anything on me. I left them in my truck and did not want to go backand forth so I just settled for the doe. If I had a set up like this, it would have been alot harder not to notice I did not have my reloads on me when I left my truck.
Gotta love those tubes. I don't know how I got along without them.
They're really great for setting up a range session. For example, I'll be giving the .410 Gold Dots a work out on Saturday. I already have 40 tubes loaded up with measured loads of T7 - ten each at 90, 100, 110 and 120 grains. It sure makes it nice when youget ready to shoot atarget by layingout 5 bullets, 5 powder tubes and 5 primers on the bench. You can't hardly dryball a load when you organize them like that.

They are great
When FG first suggested I get some I thought he was nuts,I agreed to buy 40,I thought I would NEVER use 40 tubes,Now I need more, long and short.
I love them,My set up is so easy and streamlined,I feel efficent and prepaired and that gives me confidance

saxman1, I really like your tripod shooting stick!Looks awesome! How did you attach the the shooting stickgunholder to the camera cleat?
Most quality shooting sticks can also be used as a camera monopod
The gun holder part will unscrew and a camera will screw right on.
Tripods have a removeable cleat that attatches to the bottom of the camera and then back tothe tripod,I attatch that cleat to the gun holder, they are threaded the same and then back to the tripod.
It is rock solid and the holder swivels with little effort and no noise.
If I have a succseful hunt I remove the gun holder screw on the camera (Fuji Finepix 10 mp) and take my own field photos, the camera stays in a hard flight case in my pack so it wont get hurt.
I carry allot of stuff but always seem to have what I need and want,I dont hunt to far from the road so it's no big deal.
My tripod is a Nikon camo
