Heard of them, never picked one up. I prefer wood to plastic as well. That company seems to have some interesting ideas about bullets and loads. I'll be interested to hear how the gun performs if you get one. I noticed mention of a ramrod extension on the website. I'm not crazy about the ramrod design on my Remington Genesis, maybe MDM's is a better system.
