Default One hole group Happy Birthday to me

Today was my 40th birthday so it was all about me today. Did some bowhunting this morning, Went to the range this afternoon. Played with some 200 grain SSTs & 180 grain gold dots. Harvester crush rib 50/40 sabots & the blue mmp sabots. The harvester sabots were way loose in my Omega X7. Shots were all over the place. 4 or 5 inch groups one group was 8 or 9 inches. The mmp sabots were about right . The gold dots & 70 grains BH209Grouped right at
1 1/2 inch groups.

The SSTs over 70 grains BH209 grouped real good at 1 inch. One 3 shotgroup was a hole that measured
.40 X .85 Nice little horizontil string. Happy birthday to me.
The 50/40 Harvester crush ribs kinda disapointed me. Way to loose. Got me to thinking about some .41 bullets.
This years combo will be the MMP sabots & 200 grain SSTs. I took my 35 Whelen out today too. It did OK with my reloads average group 1.5--2 inches. Just getting started with this one. Sore shoulder But a good day

Good for youBurntmuch. That's the way to treat yourself!

I have a couple of packs of those 50/40s on the way from Harvesterspecifically to try with the 210 grain .410 Gold Dots. I sure hope they shoot well. I'll be posting results in a week or two.
