Default Piked up the endeavor

I picked up my Endeavor yesterday. (Sorry no pics) I have no clue how to post pictures. When I got it home the first thing I did was clean out the barrel and wipe everything down with some Sheath. It took forever to get the barrel clean. Then I mounted a Simmons Aetec schop on a set of Leuopold rings. What do you guys think about the Aetec scope. I have two of them and so far thay have been fine. Does anyone have any input on this scope. I am taking it to the range Saturday. I'll post a report when I get back. I am going to try 250gr shockwaves and a Harvester short black sabot and the 200 gr. shockwaves with the blue sabots. I hope one or both of these will work. Oh yea, I will also be shooting BH209 and W209 primers. What do you guys think?

About the scope I don't know, never used one. You have everything esle right , seat firmly and expect it will be a bit eratic till you get it broke in, the fast way to break it in with bullets would be to get some FPB and shoot them.
After you have it broke in then try from 90 to 120 gr one of these loads will normally shoot much better than the others all though there are a few guns around that do well with all of them. Lee

I cleaned my encore with JB bore paste about twenty strokes took out the black grease smoothed the barrel and made loading much easier.

Sounds like you are about all set. Please be sure to read the manual and know all the particulars about the rifle before setting off to the range. Be safe and shoot well.

I know nothing about that scope, although that is a high end scope I believe. It should work just fine.

Blackhorn is a great powder and those with that model rifle have been doing some outstanding shooting with that powder and the mentioned bullets.

I hope so. My omega shoots really good. I hope the endeavor shoots just as good. Hopefully with the same bullet sabot combination and 110gr of BH209. That would be great since I already have a big supply of shockwaves and the Harvester short black sabots.
