Default Marlin Muzzleloader

I have a Marlin MLS 50 muzzleloader. It uses #11 and I was wandering if I could convert it to shoot a 209 primer?

Many of the older model muzzleloader can be modified. I suggest you contact Marlin. I never heard of a conversion. Personally, stick with loose powder and a #11 cap and you'd be fine.

As I remember, unlessI mis-remember,the marlin gun is the same as another gun out there. If that's true, a conversion kit made for that gun should work in the Marlin too.

Nothing wrong with #11 though.

There you go, same as a T/C BD. Sounds like there could be a conversion.

A google search for "Black Diamond 209 conversion" will give plenty of links to conversion kits, assuming the BD is "the same" as a Marlin MLS 50.
