FPB Sabots.....

Well I broke down and bought me a pack of these beasts. They look HUGE compared to the 250 gr. shockwaves I have been shooting.

I hope they shoot accurate and group well for me and they aren't too much of a pain to cram down the barrell. That's the fun of it anyhow.....trying new things to see how they work.

Should I use 2 pyro. pellets or 3? The ballistics said they shoot flatter with 3 I believe. If I can get decent accuracy to 150 yards, I will be good to go!

I shot them with 2 pellets of 777 out of my triumph at a 150 yards with great accuracy. (about 2 inch groups ) The initial engraving felt harder than a lead conical but once engraved they slid down real easy

They work quite well in both myTC gune with 100 gr. With the QLA they load easy and group in a degree of angle. Lee

I'm shooting them with 100 gr Pyrodex loose. They shoot very well for me. I have no worries about performance on deer out to 100 ydswith 100 gr of powder and a 350 gr jacketed slug.IfI were you I'd go with 2 pellets. For a little more performance/range I might consider 110 or 120 gr loose powder, but that's about it.
