Default Sunday at the range

Needed to hit the range prior to the BP opener, schedule for Nov 1, here in VA. Missed quite a few deer at the end of last BP season. I had no idea why my set up had lost the accuracy from begining to the end of BP season 2007. 2007 season set up: TC Encore 50 cal, Nikon Omega BDC 3x9, vari flame primers, 100 grains pyrex, 240 grain extreme elite bullets.

Decided tochange tothe following for 2008 BP season: 150 grain of powder and a 260 grain bullet.
The session at the range consisted of the following shots. No cleaning or spit patches between shots. 5 consective shots

25 yards: In the black (high of center)
50 yards: In the black (high of center)
100 yards: In the black (right of center)
225 yards:Touching the black (high and right)
25 yards /open sites:In the black

After this session, I cleaned the encore and put it away for opening day. I'm pleased with the results of this set up.

Yeah, I'd be pleased with that too touranqeaud. What 260 grain bullet is that?

It sounds like you're good to go.

EXTREME ELITE MUZZLELOADER BULLETS

I also bought the variflame primer adapters from this company. Uses a CCI 400 small rifle primer instead of a 209 primer.
