Default Equipment change question

My wife gave just gave me a thumbhole stock for my Encore Pro-hunter (birthday). I had mentioned wanting one so...surprise!!! My question is whether or not a stock change (switching from the normal flex-tech to thumbhole...say for greenfield hunting) would change my POI? I figure the answer is no...thinking the scope/barrel set-up is what's critical but wanted to check. Thanks in advance!

You will definitely hold the rifle differently. I realize most people say that when you sight a rifle in, it should shoot the same for everybody. But I have sure seen a lot of different people shoot the same rifle to a different POI. I would definitely check your zero. Tom.

If you change that stock you better get out there and shoot that rifle again. It might not be too much of an adjustment, but I will guess there is going to be a difference. And be sure to thank the wife for such a nice gift..
