Default T7 Primers for Pyrodex?

I'm going to shoot Pyrodex in my Genesis until I use up what I have. Walmart only seems to carry Triple 7 209 primers. Are these recommended for Pyrodex as well? Thanks.

They will work for pyrodex.I useed triple 7 and Remington Kleen bore both before without any problems. They were designed to cause less fouling and are not quite as hot so as not to move the load off the powder on ignition. I quit using them simply because I haven't had any problems with cci primers and cci is 50% cheaper here .

Actually they will work real well. They are kind of expensive, but are a good primer. You will get a nice soft crud using them that is easy to swab out.. Good luck and keep us posted on the Genesis.
