Default Got one

Sorry I havn't posted in a while, I've had some health issues to deal with but I managed get out today for opening day here in NC. My son Tyler( 11 ) and I had a great day in the field. He pulled a long shot this afternoon. We were in a box blind elevated 20' in the air when a doe came in to get some corn that we had put out this morning. I ranged the deer at 135 yards and when he touched the trigger on his CVA Wolf, the 240gr Hornady XTP Mag found it's mark and she could only manage to lunge forward enough to fall just inside the thick brush that she had come out of. This was his second harvest with the Wolf in the two years that he's had it. That little thing is extremely accurate with 100 grains of blackhorn 209. The pictures didn't turn out well at all because I had to use the cell phone's camera but I'll try and post them.

Way to go Tyler.... and Ray,i know how proud you are.... a great father son combination...

Thought you were going to make Tyler use the rest of the T7 and saving the BH for the elder hunter...

When he shot some of the Blackhorn 209 and saw his groups shrink and how much easier his gun was to clean he just had to have a container. What's a Dad to do.
