Default NEF Sidekick takes a back seat......

After shooting all summer long and hundreds of dollars in different powders, primers, sabots, bullets, conicals and even a custom 209 breech plug i could never get a real tight group beyond 70 yards. I shot a nice buck last year with this SideKick but it was with open sights and at close range. This year I am heading to Missouri for the BP opener and I may need to shoot a bit farther and I want to be prepared. I broke down last night and bought a new Triumph. I have shot my woman's Triumph all summer as well and it just shoots everything extremely well with 1.5" groups at 100 yards. Imounted my Nikon Omega on it and will be sighting in this weekend. I looked at several different models from T/C but I think the Triumph gives me the most "Bang for the Buck". I like the speed breech and the accuracy I have gotten in the past with these guns and at $327 it was a good buy. I will post some groups as I get them.

Personally, I think you made a great choice - a gun that will last you a life time...

I agree, if I had to go to a gun, it would be that or a Knight KRB7.
