Default Test drive

I received my CVA Kodiak Pro Magnum .45 yesterday so I took her for a little test drive. Man, I love this smokepole stuff!

Shooting at a 2 inch black square from 70yds with iron sites, my first shot missed apprx. 8" left of center. Next shot, was apprx 4" left of center. Final shot was dead center on top of the square. I was shooting a 155gr T/C XTP .40 w/sabot, 100gr. Pyrodex pellets, and Winchester 777 209 primer. I think the first shot I pulled trying to anticipate the recoil (which was far less than I was expecting). Overall, I'm in love with this gun and can't wait to shoot it more and figure out its favorite load. Most importantly, I feel very confident taking it out on the first day of ML season here in GA.

That should have the Crushzone recoil pad that cva's been putting on their new stuff. Its an amazing recoil pad! I shoot anything from a 245gr powerbelt up to the 405gr powerbelt and recoil isnt even there.

Long story. Suffice to say I got there late and didn't have much time to shoot before dark.

I definately plan on shooting more though!
