Default New to the forum

Just wanted to say hi. I am new to the forum and looking forward to meeting the guys around here. I live in South Dakota . I hunt with blackpowder only and can hardly wait for Saturday 10/4/ when I can go anterless hunting. I have a refuge tag for Mid october. Then the regular season is November. Muzzleloader is actually Dec 13 thru January 31st. I have the following BP guns
T/C Omega 50 cal.
T/C Triumph 50 cal.
Remington Genesis 50 cal.
Knight LK11 50 Cal.
CVA Kodiak Pro 45 cal.
Lyman Great Plains Rifle 54 cal. 1 in 60 twist
Lyman Great Plains hunter 1 in 32
Pedersoli Double barrel 58 Cal.
Traditions Crocket rifle 32 cal.
Why so many guns ??
I have 8 kids and I need to make sure there is one for everyone when I'm gone. sounds like a good reason to me. Of course if you don't buy that it's ok my wife didn't buy it either. LOL

Welcome to the forum Chetmarks. Always glad to have more input and opinions.

Eight kids???? DANG! It's a wonder you can afford ANY guns. By the way - there's a rule on this forum that you have to send the bottom gun on your list to the first guy who responds to your first post.

Welcome to the forum. Its good to have you here. Any reason to have guns is good to me. It looks like you have a great collection of firearms there.

Welcome neighbor, I am in southern Minnesota. You will find that there are some pretty knowledgeable black powder shooters on here. I'd hate to think how long it would take to learn as much about this sport by myself as I have been able to learn by reading the posts here.
Good luck hunting in the refuge.
