I have a Chiefs Pro Clean,if that is what you are refering to.It works really really great in scraping the lands and grooves of Plastic Sabot Parts left over and other Residue from the barrel,Youhave to buy it for the Type /Brand/Cal Gun you have. Like for say ,50cal TC or 50cal Knight

Yes LarryFox1, that's it.Thank you for the information too!

sabotloader it's here - http://www.chiefsproclean.com/.

I pinged the owner/inventer asking him what model to use for a White ML .504 sized barrel and he responded saying he didn't design one for it because White stated it's best to shoot them dirty, etc. So I was wondering if you folks heard of this cleaning tool, does it do what they claim it does, etc ...

thank you,
phil

Thanks but no thanks. There is nothing going down the bore of my rifles except a good cleaning jag and patches. That thing looks like scratches waiting to happen. Take your time and use a good solvent, a patch, and a jag. Your barrel will thank you(In essence no brushes of any type). Tom.

No I am not interested. There is very little plastic, lead, and powder residue that I accumulate in my bore and I don't like the idea of something scratching its way down my barrel. I will stick with a patch and jag. Although I have never tried the product that you mention.

The metal that the Chief's Pro Clean is made of is alot softer than any Barrel and it is Not of Such a Tight Fit that it has to be Forse down the barrel. The mere weight of the Ram Rod will puch it down the barrel ounce you have the cleaning tool line up with the grooves and lands. It is one of the Best Cleaning Tools to ever come out.It will keep the Rifling edges SHARP and Clean.Try it and you will never look back

A jag & patch just wipes a barrelout trying to cleaning it.The Chiefs Pro Clean can and does get down into the lands and grooves to scrap them out to clean them .Keeping the Rifleing Sharp means it gets alot better hold on the bullet/sabot.While a Patch and Jag would not Dull it are should not anyway.Theycan and do often times aloud the old Risdue to build up along the edgestohave a roll over effect to the lands and grooves.
Thats what i am talking about
