Default KRB w/ T7, & 270g 44cal Gold Dot=> !st Kill, a big doe

1st time MI has had an "early" doe season in our Southern section. Probably costing the insurance companies too much money related to car v deer crashes,

I'm pleased with the performance.
I had zeroed my load at 150 yds and shot the doe about 160 yds paced. Angled to shot. Hit a little high, took out 2 ribs on the left going in, notched the back of the shoulder blade, passed throgh the diaphragm, & took out 2 more ribs going out. Exit hole about the size of a quarter. No blood trail; too high for that I guess. Traveled about 40 yards.

congratulations on the big doe.. sounds like the bullet did a good job. Was there a lot of internal damage?

Loaded w/ 120g T7 2f loose,

Damage? Enough.
I really didn't take any extra time to get details as it was so warm and I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. Had my shirt half way unbuttoned and sleeves rolled up. Maybe if MI does this again I'll consider repellent.

Congrats! That's a great shot you made- 160 yards is a long way for a ML.
