Gotta love this gun! Had mine 2 years now and love it. I got it late in the year 1st year and took a coyote at 85 yrds., 2nd yr. 2 deer 50 yrds. and 35 yrds., this year just came back from canada and took a 240lb black bear at 75 yrds. off hand and droped it in its tracks. This gun is a tack driver.

Good shooting... it sounds like you and that rifle have a real thing going. Welcome to the forum.

I'm shooting 250 gr. shockwaves with 150 gr. pyrodex pellets.
It will shoot 1 1/2" groups at 100 yrds, I can usually touch 2 shots and have one off a little (probably me)
I have a nikon omega bdc on it and this set up seems to work well

I've been meaningto try that load in my Triumph with Omega scope. Does this load also work well with yourBDCon long range shots(ie; do the BDCpoints hit where they're supposed to)?

I'm hoping so its dead on at 100yrds, but havent shot much over that , as our range had some trees drop on it and hasn't been cleared.
I was going to find out last fall, I had a coyote at 225 but didnt want to mess up the deer hunting. So i'll keep my fingers crossed.

I don't have a Pro but love my Encore, now that i have the forearm and stock tight and it shooting good . Its amazing how a loose forearm or stock can make your shots go all over the place . Muzzle loader Deer season starts in 10 days !!!!!!!!!!!
