Better depends on what features you are talking about, in my experience accuracy is much the same, the Triumph the Pro hunter and the Endeavor have some features that in my opinion make them better for me. I have several TC's 6 to be exact what I don't have is the new Endeavor, but I am looking very had at it. The Triumph does all I need but that don't stop me from wanting, if they don't come out with a SS thumb hole version of the Triumph I might end up with an Endeavor also. Lee

Yes, Savage 10ML is less costly than an Encore and a bit more accurate. There are >>>many<<< folks shooting 250 and 300 yards accurately with a rifle.

The is off the shelf the 2nd time I shot my Savage, and the only time I have ever done this. It was with TC Shockwave 300g at 100 yards with supplied sabot. Chap

This is at 200 yards with Barnes Origonals 300g and 67g of 4198. The cost of the gun was $550 for a Synthetic Stock Savage with SS barrel, $200 for a Bushnell Elite 3x9 scope and $100 for Ware Mounts and Weaver Grand Slam Rings. If I were buying again, I would get s 4-14 Sitron Scope and a Thumbhole Laminate Stock, since I am a treestand hunter. They are 1.5" guaranteed out of the box. Encore can do the same thing on Accuracy, as can the Omega. With Blackhorn 209, I think any of these guns is a good 200 yard gun no problem.

If you want 200 yard gun any of them will do that, if you want 300 yard gun then go with the Savage, since it can shoot smokeless.

Chap

Most of the T/C guns do not shoot full bore conicals as well as some other rifles. If you are talking about sabot only guns then they are probably as high up the list as any. I have a lot of hope for my new CVA Optima Elite but have not shot it enough to report anything yet. The quality of build and the bore of the Elite looks really good. If you want a switch barrel rifle and do not want to pay the price for the Encore the Optima Elite is another option. Probably not any better but another option that may prove to be just as good for less money.

Unfortunately that one is illegal in Arizona as the rules state single barrel.
