Default Question

Hello, this is my first time to post, but I have been reading this forum for about a year. Anyways, enough said about that and I will get to my question. It's getting to be around that time of year where I am going to start Christmas shopping for my dad. He is an avid bow and blackpowder hunter. He has been wanting that new blackpowder gun with the interchangeable barrels for a while now. I can't remember the make or model of it for the life of me. I want to think it is TC, but I can't remember. Anyways, any help would be great. Also, if anyone has one, how do you like it? If the price is right, I may check into it for myself also. Right now I have a Knight but still have not had the chance to shoot it because I don't have the cleaning tools.

The rifle he want I believe is the TC Encore, there are several models. Pro Hunter, Endevor, etc. They have interchangable barrels. My brother has one and he only hunts with that now. He loves it.

If you decide on the CVA Optima Elite, get the thumb hole stock

IMO It handles recoil much better than the standard swept-pistol grip style

The TC as stated above is a great gun, lots of barrel choices and can even be made into a pistol.Lots of aftermarket availabe.
The CVA is also a quality gun but not as many choices of calibers.

I have the Encore and Love it.

It just don't get any better than the Encore Endover, of course the price shows it; at least with this one you get what you pay for. Lee
