Default which gun to buy?

Help, thinking about buying either a Remington Genesis or CVA Optima, not sure which one to get.

First off welcome to the forum. Either of them will be a good rifle, but between the two, I would get the Optima. And try to get the top of the line that you can afford, like the Optima Pro (I think it is called).

Thanks, glad to be here, hadn't looked at the Pro yet, Bass Pro has a package deal right now, where you get a CVA Optima 209, a Red head 4x32 scope, scope mounts and a Red Head carrying case for around 300.00. Remington is offering 35.00 rebate.

I would really go with the Optima faced with the choices you gave. If i could add another $300 dollar gun I would gowith the Omega Z5

Gees! that is a huge link - but i think it will get you there... I know it does not have all the added bennies of the Bass Pro offer - but the gun is a great gun....

Whoa! here is even a better offer - a Z5 with Weather Shield

I ordered a CVA Optima Elite Stainless from Dicks a couple weeks ago for $389. I wanted the camo stock but they had none in the warehouse. For less than a hundred more for a stainless Bergarra barrel, I couldn't resist. It's also a longer 28" barrel which means it's heavier, but you won't need to burn as much powder to get the same velocity as a shorter barrel.

to make this 25 characters do as follows:

copy and paste the URL into your clipboard
go to www.tinyurl.com
paste the URL into the form and click on "Make Tiny URL"
it makes a tiny URL so you don't get hosed on things, here it is:

http://tinyurl.com/5cwte5

Test it out. Now try it yourself. Bookmark it if you can't remember. Or better yet make a "hunting folder" and save a URL to that folder for Tiny URL.

Brandnew unused with S/S barreland camo thumbhole stock.
