how many shoots out of a breech plug

I was cleaning my knight after my range session. the breech plug was showing some wear.

I have almost 500 to 1000 shoots on it. it was my only ML for 6 months. 25 shots per session. some time 4 per month.

man that little $40 gun got some mileage on it.

When you say wear, what are you talking about? What I check on them is the nipple part, and the threads.

what dave said, and the face of the plug to see if the flash hole has been enlarged.

I didnt change the plug on my X-150 until i sold it and that plug had well over 2000+ shots through it.

sorry, I meant pitting in the cone area.

long day in the sun, baked my brain.

I am not really worried about it. both the threads, nipple and breech, look brand new.
