Default What does your hunting look like in 2008

This is what was left after the last season last year, seen them but still in velvet and growing so far, one looks like 12 points this year. Lee

very nice.. now seeing things like that makes a person want to get out in the woods. Of course they come out after dark. That's the same problem around here where no one pushes them.

I have seen that big one in broad day light but never when I had a camera handy. Lee

I can only dream of seeing something like that. They have them like that along the Mississippi River bottoms, about 60 miles from our lease, but not in our poor soil/piney woods hunting area. Here's the best I've taken in nine years on our lease (16" spread - looks bigger in the picture than it is).

that board mount has some good G1's! My season is looking pretty good here. I didnt think much was left after dog season here since most of the big ones I had been after were killed, but ive seen some very good 130-150inch bucks. I have them patterned for now, but its gonna take luck to decide if one walks under my stand. Hopefully they will...

btw here is what my upstairs looks like LOL.. These are just the wall mounts. Nothing huge, but pretty decent for Va bucks.
