Default .45 Powerbelt BH209 results

Here are the results of today"™s shooting. All loads 90 yards- 80 grains BH209- no swabbing. 175,195,223,275 grain powerbelts. It was interesting the Kodiak 28" was faster even though the Optima Pro is 29".

The 223 are looking good, just don't shoot them as hard as you are. The PB are designed for 1200 to 1400 fps, they fragment at the speed your shooting on shoulder hits. Chap

Chap you've seen my doe with 80gr triple 7 3f 225gr copper powerbelt. A 223gr platinum will handle a load stiffer than the one i used.

Excellent group with those 223's.

With the others, i am wondering if a new primer or 2 would put stack them up like those 223s?
