I just ran across a post mentioning that Cabela's is having a Genesis sale plus there's a $35 rebate until 12/31/08.
Itmust be overstocked!

That reviewer made his post back in Februrary, 2008 way before this rebate was even in effect, and he incorrectlybelieved that it was good for the entire year of 2008!

the genesis muzzleloader that i received is nice and worth the money, however when i applied for the rebate that is supposed to be good all year ,2008 i received a notice from remington that the rebate had expired and was no longer available. just thought that you should know so you can correct your ad."

But the Remingtonrebate form indicates that:

All Offers valid on purchases made 8/1/08 through 12/31/08.

Somaybe hemisread the rebate form or used the wrong rebate?
Whatever, I don't think that Cabela'sintendstoangerthatmany customers!
