FG - The only inline I ever owned was a CVA Optima Pro in the Black/blue configuration. That rifle never failed me and was plenty accurate. I would assume the SS/camo would be just as good if not better. I just never got hooked on the inline route and have stuck with the traditional rifles.

Both handle well and feel good in my hand. The ones I looked at had good fit and finish. I think both have the Bergara barrels so quality should be good. If it were me I would lean toward the Elite simply because of the multi barrel option and the fact that it's been out longer.

I like the high priced one, since it is your money, but in reality they all will shoot excellent and about the same. It is beauty you are choosing not function.

shaddup corey! Now that i got this elk tag, that elite with a 30-06 barrel is lookin might fine!



Lets see how long it takes before we get UC to squeel like a pig and buys an accura

Dang! I just saw the 45-70 optime elite. and then a .50cal/.270 combo for $446.
