Default BLACK HORN USERS

I tried some 90% alk. to clean after shooting BH to day, I believe that it works better than anything else I have tried to use, enough so that I will be using it from now on unless a problem turns up. Your comments please. Lee

I would say make sure you follow that alcohol with a good oil.

I was using Butch's Bore Shine but noticed by accident that isopropyl alcohol also seemed to take the fowling off very well...

Why, would you be directed on the Bottle of BH209 to use oil based solvent only? If 90% alc , it is still water based. Wished you guys would quit making me think so much!!

I like to getem really clean preferably with out to much work.
I always oil a gun after I clean it some cleaners are worse than the powder, I use synthtic oil with BH because they seem to work well together. Lee

Good information. I've used brake cleaner and denatured alcohol and had pretty good luck with both.
