KRB will not ignite BH209 reliably and will hangfire.

Knights working on a different breach plug, the Federal is the hotest I would try them in a magnum if that still dont do it then put 10 gr of 777-fff in first[its the least corrosive after BH209] but clean your gun good that day. Lee

If someone has some BlackMag3 AND Blackhorn209, I would like to know if a little experimentation with a small charge of BM3 under a larger charge of BH209 would cure ignition issues... not that I would suggest anyone actually do such a thing.

One thing about BM3 is that almost anything will ignite it. Someone elsewhere (I think) mentioned duplexing with a bit of BP. That seems counter to the purpose of using the BH209 in the first place, to me at least. BM3 wouldn't add the negatives - in my estimation.

DISCLAIMER:I haven't a clue what I'm talking about and accept no responsibility for anyone tryiing such a ridiculous experiment. Get it?

100g of BH, 3 shots with 300g Barnes MZ supplied sabot. I plan on shooting it this fall in my Omega.
Bought 60 of the MZ, 20 pack for 12.99. See also Lee's report on his Omega with BH, very accurate:

Good thing I'm not curious - got some BH on the way and a jug of BM here on the shelf.
And a KRB.
Yep - not curious at all.

I have some BM3 and BH209 so I may have to try that combination in my White. It may be better than 777 and BH.
