I'd shy away from the KP1 or KRB for atleast another year or two. To many trigger issues that need to be fixed by the company.

Been here two years and i've never seen so many trigger issues pop up like this before.

I've read of exactly ZERO issues with the KP1 trigger.

The KP1 design is slowly evolving so holding off a bit might not be a bad idea. Buying onenow would also not be a bad idea.

I am not sure about the KP1 but I have owned a KRB7 and not a minutes probblem out of it no trigger issuse what so ever , but it is like anything there is going to be probblem with sertin things from time to time as these are production guns and not custom made 1 at a time so therewill arise probblems at times, but don't condem the whole fleet ! mine was a excellent shooter with BullShop Conicals .

I have heard of a couple that had to have the whole trigger group sent back to Knight because of miss fires but the problem was immediately corrected by Knight. Lee

Lee, you are referring to the KRB - not the KP1... correct?

I had a minor problem with my KRB firing pin not striking the primer fully. The problem was after about 20-25 shots blow back residue from the primers in the area shown in red. I dropped it out, gave it a shot of Remington Shotgun Cleaner, shook it off, and sprayed some Rem Oil of the trigger assembly, shook it off and put everything back togeather. Never had anymore problems the rest of the day. I think my problem was the crud buildup after shooting so many times. Design flaw?? Maybe but it's not enough of a bother to send it to Knight. Anygun will have problems if it's not kept clean.

There isa tiny spring in that hammer mounted safety on the KRB. If that spring breaks, your rifle becomes inoperable. I had no trouble with mine and have yet to read of an owner having such an issue, but amodel I saw on the shelf in Bass Pro had such a broken spring. I have no idea what was done to break that spring but it has bugged me ever since. [:-]
