That BDC is something you really need to consider whether you need it or not. If your shots are extreme distance where you will need that ability to use that BDC then fine. Also remember, your rifle load has to match the scope.

Instead, I would get a good quality scope and just learn the drops.

It Depends on your Budget if You want some of the best then go with the Waren Steel bases & rings ( Pricey )

If they make a See Thru.

I found that if you just use a MED ring and keep your scope on 3X or 4X you will be just fine as you can always up the power for longer ranges .

most of the SEE THRU rings will lift your head up off the stock to far to shoot compfertable or Accuratly.

Screw the see thru rings.....

Scope it with a fixed six, shoot both eyes open, and prepare to cut meat................

If you ask most experienced hunters, some may have tried the see through mounts, back in the 60s and 70s...Now they have learned that if you mount the scope properly and learn how to shoot with both eyes open while looking through the scope that the are not necessary...They are an inferior mounting system they will not hold up to the recoil of a big game rifle...They also destroy proper cheek weld on the stock because they raise the scope higher than the gun was designed for...

If you need to learn how to use a scope, buy a .22 and drop a cheaper Bushnell on it and learn to squirrel hunt...
