i am buying a triumph and a omega bdc scope the rings that come with it do they allow you to use the iron sights. or is there a black powder set that will allow me to use the sights for close range

That BDC is something you really need to consider whether you need it or not. If your shots are extreme distance where you will need that ability to use that BDC then fine. Also remember, your rifle load has to match the scope.
Instead, I would get a good quality scope and just learn the drops.

Scope it with a fixed six, shoot both eyes open, and prepare to cut meat................

well i plan to set up for any where from a 10 yard to a 200 yard shot not that i intend to shoot 200 yards but if i see a good deer out there i want to be able to take the shot

If you ask most experienced hunters, some may have tried the see through mounts, back in the 60s and 70s...Now they have learned that if you mount the scope properly and learn how to shoot with both eyes open while looking through the scope that the are not necessary...They are an inferior mounting system they will not hold up to the recoil of a big game rifle...They also destroy proper cheek weld on the stock because they raise the scope higher than the gun was designed for...
If you need to learn how to use a scope, buy a .22 and drop a cheaper Bushnell on it and learn to squirrel hunt...
ya i want a 22 i have used a scope before i guest the 3-9 omega should be good not like i will be shooting 5 yards in front of me
