Default Shooting in the AM

Well, Couldnt sleep for crap so i am running on only 4 hours of sleep Head hurts already.

Nice and cool out today with no wind and a clear sky. Omega is coming out with me along with 75g Pyrodex P and the 295g Powerbelts. I am going to take 3 shots at 100 yards and make any adjustments and write that down for hunting season.

Get to test out the new shooting sand bag!

Mornings are nice to shoot. It was cold this morning, I was out for my walk and had to wear a light jacket over my T shirt.. Which is fine with me. Now if the biting insects would just go away.

Insects would be nice compared to the damn 90lb dog i had trying to crawl on my lap and the darn cat that used my thigh as a scratching post[:@]

Great morning! I have to adjust the scope to the right and i'll have a Powerbelt shootin mofo!
My first shot on clean bore is out of the group a bit but still shoots 1" 3 shot group @ 100 yards. My second and third shot with 75g pyro P and the 295 AT, exited my sand bucket! That sand was rained on last night and really damp so i was pretty amazed that they exited.

First shot again on clean bore with the 348 AT was to the left but second and third were touching. My last shot actually lifted the 80lb bucket and knocked it right over onto its back LOL. That was pretty cool to see it just lift up and dump over. Good thing i had the sand in a pillow case or else i would have been pissed!

Rifle and my Two shooting buddies,

295 AT group, Finger is pointing to my #1 shot on clean bore,

2 shots from the 295 AT exited my sand bucket,

348 AT, Finger shows #1 shot on clean bore, Shots 2 and 3 are in the big hole and were touching,

6 clicks to the right, loaded up the 295's again and took 3 shots, its now center but when i switched to the 777 primer, it shot higher! I took my 3 shots but before loading the rifle, i saw that the primer was non corrosive so i fired a primer first through the barrel and then loaded up powder and powerbelt. All 3 grouped excellent and it looks like i may be using the 777 primers. I still have to test the CCI shotshell primers later on.
After i was done shooting i adjusted 8 clicks down which should put me right where i need to be.

Excellent shooting! I'm not sure I could shoot that good even if my rifle was capable of it.
