Default TArgets Omega BH209 300BO & 250TMZ

First time shooting BH209 with my laminated thumbhole stainless Omega. I had the QLA removed and barrel recrowned. Not a great shooter with most bullets and Triple seven (1-3" MOA). I did get better groups with 290-300 grain bullets using T7 and my Omega. Need to try more combos with BH209 and this gun.

121 grains Blackhorn 209, 90 yards , 300 Barnes Original and 250 Barnes TMZ

It looks like you have a good load worked up there already... The indicated red groups look real good. Nice shooting.

Almost 2000 fps with a 300 grain Barnes original? WOW! Look out moose.

That BO group looks awsome. I could never get the TMZs to shoot in my Savage, even though I want them too in the worst way. BO are a good bullet from what I hear, I plan on using them for Colorado elk. Nice shooting. Best Wishes, Chap Gleason
