Default 349.00 for a triumph

ok i have found some triumphs black stripped for around 400 camo losses was 499
i went to walmart walked by the outdoor area
and it grapped my idea a popup blind box
so i thought mmm the hunting stuff is coming out cool

i ask if they can order a camo triumph she says no because they no longer sell gun so they get what the get and thats it

But they do have one in back it is black and 349 not sure which model but i assume it is stripped for 349.00

am i wrong or is that just cheap

The composite blue barrel is about $400 now. I saw a new composite weathershield up here in NJ for $387 last Dec. but the prices have gone up a bit.

Reeds is usually pretty competitive, they had the Weathershield model for $387 last year too.

Did you ask to look at it? They usually will bring it out for you to inspect and see what it has. It could be one that was shipped there but never sold and they have a good price on it just to get rid of it. I would ask to see it.

I wouldn't buy something that's not what you really want just to save a few bucks. Two days after you buy it you'll be thinking, "heck, for $50 more I could have had a ...."

Weathershield is only a "psuedo-stainless" anyway, so why not just spurge andbuy real stainless then?

I recently posted about this one reported problem with Wethershield. Granted it's an isolated incident and under warranty, but is Weathershield all that's it'scracked upto be?

Someone on THR posted about corrosion starting upunderneath the Weathershield finish onhisnearly newOmega.
TCtold him to send it in under warranty:

The same with the BDC scope, is it over-rated or is it as good as Nikon wants people to think? That's why I previously posted the pdfmanual, because it describes some of the pitfalls of the BDC reticle.

http://nikonsro.com/fileuploads/pdfs/OMEGA_manual.pdf

It goes onto say that after experiementation, the user canaimusing the top or bottom of the circles. Maybe theOmega scope with theconventional Nikoplex reticle is better than having too much faith in the BDC reticleonly to find out later that it doesn't work quitethe sameasadvertised. Who usuallyreads the manual before buyinga scopeanyway?
