Default Got drawn for ML "controlled hunt" in Oklahoms

I put in for the controlled hunts like I do every year. I went to the Oklahoma dept. of wildlife website yesterday morning to find that my hunting group got drawn for a muzzleloader hunt at Mcgee Creek in Southern Oklahoma at the end of October. I can't wait! Since I've finally found a bullet that works for me, muzzleloader season is my favorite of all seasons. Not to mention that McgeeCreek is mentioned as one of the best spots in Oklahoma for trophy whitetails.I'm hoping they'll have time for scouting the area prior to the hunt. Just had to share the good news with you all. If anyone has any experience at McgeeCreek, let me know what it's like and how you did. Thanks, Greg

Congrats on your draw and good luck. I'm not sure about the area you are going. But my friend and I were out in western OK a few years ago and he shot a 170 class whitetail there. Gorgeous buck.
