Default T/C Pro Hunter & Primer Length

My Pro Hunter has had issues with needing to be slammed shut to get the hammer to come back with a primer in the gun. I was using Win. Tripple Seven primers and decided to try the T/C primers to see if they had an issue and they don't. The gun can be closed lightly and the hammer comes back. Looking at the two primers I notice the Winchester primer is slightly longer and this is creating my issue. I never thoughtthe dimensions of 209 primers would bedifferent, but they are.

My problem is, I bought a bottle of Blackhorn 209 and now cant use the T/C primers, since it's recomended to use standard 209 primers with the Blackhorn. The Bass Pro near me didnt haveand doesnt stock standard 209 primers,(go figure)so I was unable tocheck the length of primers when I was there. Does anyone have a selection of the various brands of 209 primersand a micrometer to measure them? Or could someone point me to a website that might have primer dimensions?

Thanks

Can't help you with an assortment, but I just measured ten CCIs and they ran from .295 to .299. Maybe someone else can privide the info on other brands.
