RE: Renegade 54 cal barrel
Really appreciate you giving me first crack Bronko. That's a great price and I'm mighty tempted. But, as you know, I also bought one of those .45 GM LRH barrels and haven't even got a chance to shoot it yet. Also sent the pitted .50 barrel to TC with a request that they look at it and see if anything could be done with it and to let me know what any fix would cost. So, I think I'll sit tight for now and see what happens. (I'll probably be kicking myself in a week or two. )

Cory, I don't have the gun yet. Probably won't have it until some time late next week. I'm just going to send the money for it on monday. But from the description - from a gunshop in NC - it says it is in good condition. It is a caplock. And for $60 thats a great price. I am only selling it to offset the price of the rifle. If no one in here wants it, it goes on ebay.

Guys - got the Renegade today. The barrel is in good shape. It looks as though someone had 'freshened up' the snail to remove some surface rust but it is in good condition and the nipple threads are good. I checked them. The bore looks brand new. The only other thing I noticed is that there is some minor blueing wear on the side flats from the stock. But some cold blueing could fix that in a couple of minutes.
So a T/C 54 cal percussion barrel for $60 - who wants it.

I originally expressed interest in the barrel for $60, but have decided to pass. $60 is a good price though, it shouldn't last long.Good luck with the sale.
